Brooches

Sarah has a particular interest in Penannular and circle brooch forms. A Penannular brooch functions by lining up the gap in the circle, and bringing the circle forward. The pin goes through the fabric. The circle is then turned behind the pin, which locks it into place.

The circle brooch works by having the pin on the front of the circle.
A small amount of fabric is pushed through the circle and caught on the pin.
